What Happens During the 7 Days?

- Proofing: For custom printed bowls, a digital or physical proof is prepared for your approval.
- Sampling production: The bowl is formed, printed, and coated to your spec.
- QC and packing: The sample is checked against your requirements, then packed and shipped.
What Can Delay Sampling?
- Artwork not print-ready: Low-resolution files or missing dielines send the process back to step one. Send vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) to avoid this.
- Custom structures: A brand-new bowl structure or special finish needs development time beyond the standard 7 days. We confirm this before sampling starts.
- Color matching rounds: Each Pantone/CMYK matching round adds time. Consolidate your color feedback into as few rounds as possible.
- Approval delays: The 7 days is production time. If the proof sits in your inbox for a week, the calendar still moves.
Are Samples Free?
Sample policy — free or charged, freight collect or prepaid — depends on the product and customization level. We confirm the terms upfront when you request samples, so there are no surprises.
How to Get the Most Out of Sampling
- Order samples of every SKU you plan to bulk-produce. Print, coating, and lid fit can all vary by size.
- Test the sample the way your customer will use it: hot soup for the rated time, iced drinks with condensation, freezer storage for ice cream bowls.
- Approve in writing. Your written sample approval is what locks the spec for bulk production.
From Sample to Bulk
Once you approve the sample, bulk production is normally around 30 days after sample/order confirmation. Keep your approved sample as the reference standard — it is the basis for bulk QC.
